eBike Battery & Charging Instructions + Troubleshooting

1. Reference the Assembly Instructions, sections Battery Installation and Battery Charger.
2. Slide the Battery into the Rear Rack Cage Battery Holder.
3. Lock the Battery with the keys provided
4. Turn the red on/off switch to on “|” located under the battery. The off position is marked as “O”
5. Go to the display on your handlebar and press “M” for 2 seconds and wait until the display turns on.
6. The display will show you the charge the battery currently has.
7. We suggest charging the battery fully before taking your first ride.
8. Make sure to check that the battery, charger, and hub all match to the information below.
8a. Check the hub for the voltage, voltage on the serial number sticker on the battery, and the charger voltage output.
8b. 500W Bicycle: Hub 48V | Battery 48V | Charger 54.6V 2.0
8c. 250W Bicycle: Hub 36V | Battery 36V | Charger 42V 2.0
8d. If they don’t match, please contact sixthreezero Customer Service Department [phone] or [e-mail].
9. Plug the DC cable (non-outlet connection) into the hollow entry port of the Charger.
10. Plug the DC cable into your outlet.
10a. The charger will turn on and show a Red light.
11a. Plug the charging cable into your battery
11b. If the battery indicator stays red, it is charging.
11c. If it turns green, your battery is fully charged and the charger can be removed.
12a. If you don’t see a red or green light once you follow the steps above, change to a different outlet.
12b. Check to see if charger turns on. It might just be your outlet.
12c. Check to see if the charging cable is fully inserted into the batteries charging port.
