Bent Head set Lock Nut (Can't Fit Stem into Bike Head Tube)

Occasionally, a bike will arrive with a bent headset lock nut. This generally due to shipping damage.

You can still get the bike together and ride it today.

It is okay to just bent the lip back up. You can use a flat head screwdriver to bend this lip up. The lip may even shear off. This is okay. The bike will be perfectly okay to ride, and it is an easy swap once your new lock nut arrives.
