Lifetime of Battery
The battery will last about 2-4 Years, depending on use and charge cycles. Lithium batteries rarely stop working altogether. They gradually lose their capacity over time.
Charging Cycles
During its lifetime, we expect the battery to last anywhere between 300-500 charges, based on the care the customers provide. We estimate anywhere between 200-300 charge cycles before the battery really starts wearing down.
Battery Charge Process
We don’t recommend our customers to over charge the battery by leaving it charging overnight. If possible, charge it when it gets to the last bar, which is 20%. Stop charging once the light turns green.
Range
This is a tough question to answer because it is based on amount of throttle and pedal assistance that you require. 12-24 Wh per mile is what you can expect from our bicycles.
250 Watt/36V: 15.5 - 31 miles | Safely, between 15-30 Miles
500 Watt/48V: 20.8 - 41.5 miles | Safely, between 20-40 Miles
How do you charge the battery? How long does it take to charge?
Using a Type B, 2 flat pins and 1 grounding pin in either a 36 or 48V charger (Included). 2-6 Hours.
