What is the difference between the sixthreezero EVRYjourney vs the Around The Block?
These bikes have significant differences that are important to consider when choosing.
The Around The Block is a steel bike that has the classic cruiser design that has been around for about ninety years.
The EVRYjourney is an aluminum bike that grew from the cruiser design, but has several significant differences. With the EVRYjourney, the frame has been changed in two ways. One, the frame is extended a few inches. So it is a bit longer and roomier. Second, the pedals have been moved forward so that the rider can sit closer to the ground and touch the ground with flat feet when standing.
The EVRYjourney is aluminum while the Around The Block is steel. The EVRYjourney weighs 35 lbs. and the Around The Block weighs about 38 lbs. Both bikes offer an upright riding position to take strain off of the back.
Lastly, the EVRYjourney had fenders, a\which can be useful for riding through puddles. Fenders also look sharp. Of course, fenders can also be added to the Around The Block as a custom option.
