For registering the bike, we ask for the serial number to ensure that benefits are attached to the correct bike.
For Damage Claims or Warranty, we certainly do not want to make you jump through hoops. However, we do ask for the serial number so that we can track the source of the issue and find a solution for future production.
In future, we hope to be able to capture the serial number when the bike is processed at one of several warehouses. Currently, we do not have reliable means to do this across all channels and sites.
